We are a very tight knit investment team, with a diverse range of complementary skills across restructuring and recovery, M&A, law and business management. Our approach is straightforward and honest and the culture of collaboration and partnership is crucial to us, from diligence through to exit. We build personal relationships before investing – these form the bedrock of our ongoing interactions with management. We are never replaced by unidentified portfolio teams post-transaction.

CEO
Peter was a chartered accountant and insolvency practitioner who founded one of the leading recovery practices before selling to a quoted vehicle in 2001.
More recently, Peter was involved in the restructuring of a private office PE fund, protecting and enhancing the value of assets that were in significant distress. He has extensive contacts within both the investing and recovery communities and a prominent entrepreneurial reputation.
Director
Harry is a chartered accountant with broad experience across restructuring and corporate finance. He joined Zed Capital from DC Advisory where he was an Associate Director in the M&A team, focussing on B2B and technology related services companies. Prior to this, Harry spent four years working in KPMG’s UK Restructuring team. His professional experience has been highly international with extended periods in USA, Hong Kong, Oman, South Africa, India and Europe.
Director
Gareth is a lawyer who had been global head of corporate for Pinsent Masons LLP for 12 years before leaving in 2017.
He has been prominent as an advisor to Boards and CEOs in a range of public (predominantly FTSE 250), private and entrepreneurial companies on their strategy and wider business issues.
Since then he has acted as a non-exec on a FTSE 100 board and many other small cap entities.
We are proud to work alongside an outstanding group of highly accomplished industry professionals, spanning sectors and disciplines. The Panel members share our relationship-led approach to investing, offering support and mentoring in our portfolio companies as either non-executive directors or chairmen.
All have experience of executive and non-executive positions in businesses of relevant scale. Their combination of skills, network and knowledge is a core element of Zed Capital’s value proposition
